Due to the tickets for the original show being ‘sold’ in just a few hours, a second show, earlier in the day has been arranged. Tickets will be available from Friday 16th January (see the link below)
A selection of my books will be available to purchase at discount prices after both performances (cash only); if there is a particular book you wish to buy, please contact me beforehand.
The presentations will be held on the lower floor of the library (in the former Reference section); access is from the rear with the entrance opening directly onto Square West car park.
Telling the story of every house in this fascinating street, and including the surrounding area such as the two churches, Arthur Street, the Albion Tavern, etc., and not forgetting some of the residents and their lives.

History of the Abbey Fields
After an absence of some years, 2025 sees my return to giving talks on the history of the Abbey Fields.
There is currently one booking for this ever popular and now greatly updated presentation.
It lasts about 75 minutes and has over 400 images, including many new ones. It takes in the formation of the fields, a brief look at the days of the Abbey and then concentrates on the complicated acquisition of the fields, and subsequent development as Kenilworth’s park. It comes right up to date with the latest archaeological discoveries, and swimming pool development.

The much delayed History of the Abbey Fields talk for Kenilworth U3A at the Methodist Church, Priory Road, is now provisionally re-arranged for 19th November 2026.
