2008 – The Abbey Gatehouse
There is a long-term plan to open up the Abbey gatehouse to display relics of the Abbey / Priory. This will include providing access through the north doorway but the ground level on the outside of the building was somewhat higher than that on the inside. In December 2008, an investigation and clearance took place; this is an extract of the resulting report:
